Waterfowl
White-fronted
Goose

Biologists
from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service often conduct White-Fronted Goose "round-ups"
during the summer when the geese are flightless. These geese all received aluminum
leg bands and coded neck collars for use in aiding biologists in the gathering
of information about the birds. This information, is hoped, will aid future
management efforts.
