Black Scoter

Less is known about the Black Scoter than almost any other duck. In Alaska, it nests along the Bering Sea coast from the Aleutians to Kotzebue sound, with Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta population estimates fluctuating wildly between 74,000 and 211,000 during the past 20 years. Learn More
