2011 Calendar Contest Launched
We are accepting entries for the 2011 Alaska Migratory Bird Calendar Contest until February 12, 2010. Contest winners will be published in the 2011 calendar.
The theme for the 2011 contest is "Celebrate Birds in Culture"

Long waving grass,
Up to my knees.
The lovely sound
Of the wind blowing
Through the high grass.
The green pond,
The green leaves
Are the colors of emeralds.
Waves roll in, roll out.
The sound of the birds
Most beautiful sounds today
High in the trees
Calmly building their nest.
