The SEEP has two components; the SCEP and the STEP. It is designed to attract talented students to Federal public service. It's an opportunity to earn money and continue your education, to train with people who manage the day-to-day business of the national Government, and to combine your academic study with on-the-job experience. The SEEP is an excellent way to introduce you to the advantages and challenges of working for the United States Government.

Job opportunities under this component offer you temporary employment. Employment can range from summer jobs to positions that can last for as long as you are a student. These employment opportunities need not necessarily be related to your academic field of study. For more information contact the Division of Human Resources at (907) 786-3610.

The purpose of SCEP, is to recruit high quality employees into Federal Service; to support equal employment opportunity objectives; to provide exposure to public service, and to promote education. This program is relative to all occupational groups (Professional, Administrative, Technical, Clerical, Wage Grade) within the Service. For more information contact the Division of Diversity & Civil Rights at (907) 786-3328 or (907) 786-3510.
